Hire Our Space

At Buxton Pottery Painting, we are privileged to have a wonderful unique space to hire. We are based in the Grade 1 listed Cavendish Arcade, named after Cavendish family at Chatsworth and was once the Victorian Public Bath house in the very epicentre of Buxton, next to the famous Crescent Hotel and Assembly Rooms. The Arcade still boasts a lot of its original features such as the original tiles and plunge pool.

The space for Hire is on the first floor mezzanine, underneath the stained glass ceiling that was designed by renowned artist Brian Clarke. It would be ideal for those wishing to host workshops, host an Art exhibition or low impact fitness classes such as Yoga and Pilates. It has electricity and toilet facilities; we can facilitate tables and chairs and if they are not required for your event, then we can facilitate their removal to give you space. Being a pottery painting studio I also have a kiln for all those artists that require the use of one for an extra charge.
